The mesh lace knitting pattern is made by repeating a series of yarnovers and decreases, which form the classic lacy appearance. This technique creates an airy fabric that is perfect for warm-weather projects like shawls, wraps, and lightweight tops.

It also makes your project breathable with a nice drape, making it a popular choice for summer the Summer. The openwork structure allows for excellent ventilation, keeping you comfortable even on hot days.

One of the easy, and highly textured knitting lace patterns, as it consists of only a 1-row repetition:

Knit 1, *yarn over, knit 2 stitches together.*

Repeat the yarn over and knit 2 together on every row. Always starting the row with knit 1.
