Knitcrate Diamonds Lace Scarf
#10US Needles (6mm)
Cast on 35 stitches (I used the long tail cast on)
Work 4 rows of seed stitch

The stitch is a multiple of 6+3= 6×4=24+3=27 and we’re adding 4 stitches
on each side for stability and to prevent curling.=35
K= knit
yo= yarn over
Repeat from * to *
skpo= slip a stitch knitwise, knit another stitch and pass the slipped stitch over
the knitted one.
sk2po= slip a stitch knitwise, k 2stitches together and pass the slipped stitch
over this last one. Same as (sl1, k2tog, psso).
s2k1psso=slide knitwise 2 stitches together, knit the next stitch and pass the
2 slid stitches over the last one.
The first 4 and last 4 stitches of each row belong to the seed stitch for edges.
Row 1.- (k1,p1,k1,p1) *K4, yo, skpo,* k3, (p1,k1,p1,k1).
Row 2 and all even number rows.- (k1,p1,k1,p1), purl, (p1,k1,p1,k1).
Row 3.- (k1,p1,k1,p1), K2 *k2tog, yo, k1, yo, skpo, k1,* k1, (p1,k1,p1,k1).
Row 5.- (k1,p1,k1,p1), K1, k2tog, yo, *k3, yo, sk2po, yo* to last 10 stitches:
k3, yo, skpo, k1,(p1,k1,p1,k1).
Row 7.- (k1,p1,k1,p1), K3, *yo, sk2po, yo, k3,* (p1,k1,p1,k1).
Row 9.- (k1,p1,k1,p1) *K4, yo, skpo,* k3, (p1,k1,p1,k1).
Row 11.- (k1,p1,k1,p1), k1, *yo, skpo, k4,* to last 2 stitches: yo, skpo,
(p1,k1,p1,k1).
Row 13.- (k1,p1,k1,p1), k2, *yo, skpo, k1, k2tog, yo, k1,* k1, (p1,k1,p1,k1).
Row 15.- (k1,p1,k1,p1), K3, *yo, sk2po, yo, k3,* (p1,k1,p1,k1).
Row 17.- (k1,p1,k1,p1), K1, k2tog, yo, *k3, yo, sk2po, yo* to last 10 stitches:
k3, yo, skpo, k1,(p1,k1,p1,k1).
Row 19.- (k1,p1,k1,p1), k1, *yo, skpo, k4,* to last 2 stitches: yo, skpo,
(p1,k1,p1,k1).
Row 20.- (k1,p1,k1,p1), purl, (p1,k1,p1,k1).
Repeat these 20 rows.
Then work on center part of scarf:
Row 1.- (k1,p1,k1,p1), *k3, yo, s2k1psso, yo* to last 7: k3, (p1,k1,p1,k1).
Row 2.-(k1,p1,k1,p1), purl 27,(p1,k1,p1,k1).
Repeat these 2 rows for at least 60” from the start.
Last section:
Row 1.- (k1,p1,k1,p1), k1, *yo, skpo, k4* to last 2 stitches: yo, skpo,
(p1,k1,p1,k1).
Row 2 and all even number rows.- (k1,p1,k1,p1), purl, (p1,k1,p1,k1).
Row 3.- (k1,p1,k1,p1), k2, *yo, skpo, k1, k2tog, yo, k1,* k1, (p1,k1,p1,k1).
Row 5.- (k1,p1,k1,p1), K3, *yo, sk2po, yo, k3,* (p1,k1,p1,k1).
Row 7.- (k1,p1,k1,p1), K1, k2tog, yo, *k3, yo, sk2po, yo* to last 10 stitches:
k3, yo, skpo, k1,(p1,k1,p1,k1).
Row 9.- (k1,p1,k1,p1), k1, *yo, skpo, k4* to last 2 stitches, yo, skpo,
(p1,k1,p1,k1).
Row 11.- (k1,p1,k1,p1),*K4, yo, skpo,* k3, (p1,k1,p1,k1).
Row 13.- (k1,p1,k1,p1), K2 *k2tog, yo, k1, yo, skpo, k1,* k1, (p1,k1,p1,k1).
Row 15.- (k1,p1,k1,p1), K1, k2tog, yo, *k3, yo, sk2po, yo* to last 10 stitches:
k3, yo, skpo, k1,(p1,k1,p1,k1).
Row 17.- (k1,p1,k1,p1), K3, *yo, sk2po, yo, k3,* (p1,k1,p1,k1).
Row 19.- (k1,p1,k1,p1) *K4, yo, skpo,* k3, (p1,k1,p1,k1).
Row 20.- (k1,p1,k1,p1), purl, (p1,k1,p1,k1).
End by making 3 rows of seed stitch and binding off “in pattern”.
Weave in ends.
